Teddy Bear Cupcakes and biscuits

The teddy bear theme is great for a child's first birthday! Along with the teddy bear cake you can stay with the theme and produce these easy teddy bear cupcakes and biscuits.

To make the cupcakes you need marsh mellows for the ears mini m and m's for the eyes, smarties for the noses and licorice for the mouth.

For the teddy bear biscuits I made a gingerbread recipe and used a teddy bear cutter. For the faces I used the icing gel pens you can purchase in the supermarket, however, you need to be careful as the gel can run and smudge. Royal icing is probably a better option.
